Panoramas your kids (and grandkids) will love
A while back, I posted these photos and had many requests on
how to take photos like this. The good news is that all you need is an iPhone… and a
kid with some energy to do a little running around.
How I Did It
The trick is to use
your iPhone Camera in Panorama Mode.
Once you begin shooting the Pano, have the child RUN BEHIND you to reach a new spot and pose.
Once you begin shooting the Pano, have the child RUN BEHIND you to reach a new spot and pose.
Tips to Help Get it Right:
·
Plan out the spots you want the child to move to
(spots 1 and 2 in the example image)
·
Pan slowly to give them more time to move
·
Pay attention to which way you are set up to pan
– the example shown is Left to Right.
·
The child must freeze in place quickly
·
More than 3 spots it tough unless you are outside
in wide open space
Final Thoughts
Trust me when I tell you, your kids will love this. You’ll
have lots of laughs with them and the creative possibilities are endless. You’ll
also teach them a little bit about how cameras work. We’d love to see your fun
panoramas, share them with Tom
Ryan Media on FaceBook.
And if you have a question on how to do this, post it in
the comments section. We will reply. Thanks!
